My take on....

Jeannie Phillips The Perfect Vacation Spot ..Jeannie's cards are so inspirational..I really loved this one.

I'm going to use this card as a Birthday card for a dear friend of mine. She loves going to the beach. I didn't do any pop dots due to I will be mailing this card several states away. I also did mine a little different..I added a umbrella instead of the palm tree. Added a cute little pineapple drink.

I Used:
DCWV Flower Shower stack
DCWV & Wausau cardstocks
white & sparkle gold gel pens
LAB cart
DC cart
*I free hand the sand
*I made the inside like the front, but only with the pattern paper an blue sky..added some star fish an a Happy Birthday stamp..I will write a handwritten note.
*I did some inking on the card with Pink ink and a little brown ink on the chair

CJToo Challenge

Here is the card I made for Craft Junkie Too 1st Week of Summer Challenge it had to be summer related-parties, pool, water, bbq's, beach etc.

I made a simple card..I could use this as a invite to a pool/summer party or just a say "hey" card to a friend that just went to the beach.

Quick B-Day card

I made this quick birthday card for my nephew..I'm not sure if I will use it or not. I really like the bright colors on this card. I don't have a whole lot of boy style/colors/pattern papers. I need to buy a stack one of these days. I may just use this one anyways..he is a boy that rather have the $$ inside then what the card looks like.

glad to be back :)

Phew!!..I'm so glad to be back..I have been gone for over a week. I'm having blogger & you tube withdraws..This week I will be working on birthday cards.I got two new carts Give A Hoot and Create a Critter, I can't wait to play :) I was able to see the new Cricut Lite carts..A local WM had all them, but I didn't get any. I only want a few of them. They look great for making cards. Before I left I made a couple of cards, but didn't take pictures.

Out of Town

Sorry everyone I haven't been posting much..I just went out of town yesterday for a few days to see some out of town family. The internet where I am staying is really slow..I'm actually shocked I am getting this up. I made a real quick birthday card yesterday, but didn't have time to takes pics. I am still making cards. I will be busy making some next week. I'm not ignoring anyone's post either, just this internet is so slow its hard for everything to load. I will make sure to come back an visit everyones post when I get home.
