I must say, I still like Frankensteins outfit better!! The raggedy look one thinks of with scarecrows!! I hope you can get your PKS faces too! They are adorable. However, I think you did a good job with his face. I LOVE the yarn accents for "straw"! I never though about that! Probably a lot better to work with than rafia....may have to use your idea one time!
