Tuscaloosa Tornado 4/27/2011

I just want to let everyone know my Thoughts & Prayers go out for the people effected by this horrific storm. I have lots of Friends & Family that live in the Tuscaloosa area. My family is fine..their homes were destroyed one is a completely gone..I have heard from some friends, but not all. I have been trying to reach them. Please everyone if there is anyway you can help even if its just by praying Please do so. If you want to donate to the redcross Text REDCROSS to 90999 for a $10 donation..it will be added to your next cell phone bill.

Y is for Yellow Challenge

Here is my entry for over at Alphabet Challenge Blog this week. The letter for this week was "Y" for Yellow. Yellow had to be the main color on your project, rather it be a card, layout etc. Yellow is my favorite color..so this was fun to use my favorite color. I wanted to make a little note card to send to a friend and this is what I came up with.

I Used:
DCWV pattern paper
P Schoolbook cart-Flowers 1 3/4", 1"- Italic flower is 1 1/4"-Circle 1/2"
SU Ink
Stamp is from one of my first stamp sets from J's
card is 4"x 4"
I free handed the flower stems & leaves

**Sorry the lighting is bad today, we have storms an lots of rain for all day an night here. I love storms, but I just pray they don't get too severe.

April Week 4 "Easter Cards"

I know Easter was yesterday, but I made these last week and just forgot to post about them. The first card is for my niece. Second card is for my nephews. The boys are at the age where they don't like the "cute" stuff...so I remember this goofy card idea. This is a fun card idea for those who are not into the "cute" anymore.

I Used: 1st card
DCWV pattern papers
Wausau cardstock
Bazzill cardstock
CAC cart- Egg 4", Chick 2 3/4"
Easter 2010-Eggs 1 3/4"
White Gel Pen
**not a A2 size card..this card will fit in a 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" envie...I get mine at Staples(had to make this card bigger, cause I sent a lot of stickers in her card..she loves stickers)

Bazzill cardstock
Easter 2010- Setting Bunny 2", Standing Bunny 3 1/4"
P Schoolbook cart- Speech bubbles 1st- 1 1/4" 2nd- 3/4"

**I just used scissors to cut the ears more an to cut the butt..hehe

I hope everyone had a Great Easter with Family & Friends! I know we did..I think I'm still stuffed from all the food..an I think I'm sick of looking at ham...hehe
