Here is a Fun Gator Birthday card..I made this for a Florida Gator Fan..it's simple. Inside is stamped with HAPPY BIRTHDAY, cause the front was so heavy..I didn't want to weigh it down anymore with added paper inside. I think this Gator fan will get a kick out of it :)
I Used:
Wausau cardstock
Create A Critter- Gator cut at 3"
Cuttlebug Folders- D'vine Swirl & Mesh
CTMH Dainty Thoughts Stamp set- Happy Birthday (inside of card/not shown)
SU Dimensionals
*card fits in a business size envie...I love making these size cards..I mailed this card out with two stamps..using Wausau cardstock(not sure of weight) ...if anyone is interested in Wausau cardstock, I buy mine at Target...you can get plain, texture, soft pastel colors, basic colors, all tans-browns-blacks-whites...This cardstock cuts great on the Cricut
**also had to move the cuttlebug folder after I ran it threw one time to make sure I get the entire length of the paper & gator...since cuttlebug folders are A2 size
I'm gonna try an work on a Birthday card for a friends little girl sometime this week..Today while at Target I got to thinking do I really want to make a card...lol yes I said that eeek...So I bought one just so if I decide to not make one..that will be the first card in a long time that I bought...haha..but the mom an them are really not into the homemade :( so we shall see :)
Thanks for all the Great Comment..hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Hugs, Sheena

Cute! I love the gator from CAC. I just might have to scrap-lift your idea to send a card to a FL friend of mine whose a huge fan, although her b-day just passed. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour embossing came out wonderfully for the alligator and making the background look like water! TFS :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love all the fun embossing!
