Baby Girl Card

 

I made this simple baby girl card for the challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas. The challenge this week is Embossing and Ribbon. I don't use a whole lot of ribbon on my projects, but I wanted to play along with this challenge, plus I am always needing a good baby card. I like how this turned out.

Hi Friends!

Hello Everyone! I just wanted to stop in at my blog and say why I have been MIA and not visiting others blogs as well. 3 weeks ago my Great uncle passed away, and last Saturday the 16th my Uncle/Moms Brother passed away from a long battle. So I had all my projects I have been posting for my DT already made an ready to post before hand. We knew my uncle didn't have long, we just didn't know when that day would be. I just know he has peace and comfort. My great uncle, he wasn't well, but this wasn't expected so soon. It has been one very emotional month. That is another reason I haven't been doing any challenge post. I hope after this week I can start playing along in some challenges. It will also help keep my mind off things. So sorry I have only been posting DT post every week and not coming around visiting my blogs I follow. I hope to be back to the normal this week. I have a lot of catching up to do :) A big Thank You to those who knew what was going on and for all the thoughts and prayers. I hope everyone has a great week! Hugs, Sheena

This card can fit in a business size envie. I really hope SPRING is around the corner. I am ready for pretty green grass, bright flowers, and sunny warm days. I also love the pattern paper-PP I used for the sky..its so fun.

Texture

Hi Everyone! For this weeks Totally Tags n' ATC's at MyPaperCrafting.com the theme was Texture. I made this fun Spring tag. It is really sunny here and I am in the mood for bright flowers, and sunny days. My Texture is the Embroidery Floss on the Tulip leaves, embossed Clouds, and Tulip. The background paper is brighter than in pic, not sure why it kinda shows dark.
