Good Bye 2010.. Hello 2011 :)

Hello everyone..well 2010 seems like it flew right on by. I can't wait to see what 2011 holds for me. For 2011 I hope to make at least one card a week. Rather it be using my Cricut or just using some of my stamps I have. I Hope to post more on my blog. I would love to reach 100 followers. I'm working on a give away for my followers who have stuck by me, even though I didn't post every week. I'm gonna work really hard in 2011 to post more. I love creating an sharing what I make with my craft friends :). I'm going to try my hand at quilting this new year. I love quilts and I have so much fabric that has been handed down to me from other quilters in my family. I want to give it a try. So hopefully I will be able to share that with you. Also I would like to thank all my followers and to my new friends for a great year of crafting. I can't wait to see what the new year holds for all of us in the crafting world ;)

I hope everyone has a Safe & Fun New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Lots of Hugs, Sheena

MPS "Color Challenge" 12 Days Christmas

Here is my entry for My Pink Stamper Challenge for this challenge you had to make something and use 2 different shades of Pink, 2 different shades of Blue & use Black. Okay I made a pretty big gift tag..the gift tag is cut at 5 3/4 inches..in the picture it doesn't look that big..but it is. All the other decorations are cut from 1 3/4 inches to 2 1/2 inches..now for the tag part I didn't do the layers like it shows I made the background layer at 5 1/2 inches and the shadow layer 5 3/4 inches. I also cut paper squares at 1 1/2 inches using my Paper cutter..I glued them all down on a piece of printer paper (cause its thin) then cut the tag out ..I think it turned out cute. Kinda like a quilt...I did faux stitching with a black pen..that is my black part of the entry. Also snowman arm, eyes, mouth and tree trunk all done with black.

I Used:
DCWV pattern paper from 2009 Christmas stack
Wausau cardstock
Winter Frolic cart- Tag, Snowman & Warmth & Joy
Black Pen

* the Blue & Pink seem really dark..but they aren't that dark

Thanks for all the Nice comments!! Thanks for looking!

I Used:
Bazzill cardstock
Cloud 9 Design pattern paper
Recollections cardstock-gift card holder base

* I don't have a punch to use for where the card would be held..so I used some scrap cardstock and just glued down the edges and left the top part open.

Throwback Thursday Challenge

Here is my Shape card I made for the Throwback Thursday Challenge at My Creative Time. The challenge was to make a "Shape" card and had to have the color orange some where on the card. Also use Create A Critter or any older cart. My card is very simple..I don't make shape cards unless there is already a card shape function like Wild Card has. I can never get the sizing right on the shadow and all the other features/layers. So today I gave it a go. It took me a bit an a few mess ups, but I think it turned out pretty good. Its simple for me since its my first time making a shape card..so I left it simple with not a lot of detail. One of these days with lots more practice..I'm sure I'll make all kinds with lots of detail :) I better get back to working on some shape cards :)

I Used:
Wausau Cardstock
Create A Critter
just some brown ink for inking the edges

Thanks for Looking! Have a great Fall weekend everyone :)
