Spongebob card

I got the Spongebob Cart for Christmas...I wanted to get it anyway since my niece loves Spongebob...well her mom got it for me cause she figured I could make my niece cards all the time...she loves getting mail. I was excited to get the cart...well as in previous post I really need new cutting mats for my E...I have not got them yet..but I needed to make a card since they were still in visting so she could see how the cart turned out...The only complaint is this cart is not good if your mat is not sticky...all the layering makes it so hard...This card took me maybe two hours to do since my mats were not sticky..I had to put the paper where there was just enough sticky to keep it on the mat. I do love the cart though..but I really need new mat..will be getting those this weekend...

Here is the card Front & Inside

I Used:
Wausau Cardstock
Spongebob cart-he is cut at 4inches
all the background images are from spongebob cart

The Inside I Used:
the same cardstock
Life's a Beach cart for the lettering(got this cart for Christmas also...Love It!!!)
I drew the bubbles with a white gel pen.

I can't wait to get new mats so I can play more..I also got a new chair for Christmas from Ikea..its so comfy..now I don't have to drag my big computer desk chair into my bedroom where my little area for crafting is. When I get my little area better organized I will take pics

Thanks for looking..

I Hope Everyone has a Safe & Happy New Year!!!!

First batch of Peanut butter cookies Done :)

Here is the first batch it made 24 but the first plate was gone before the rest of the batch was done...thanks to my boyfriend :). The Betty Crocker recipe says it makes 36 peanut butter cookies but I make mine bigger for the kisses.

Thanks for looking!

Baking cookies again :)

Today I decided to make some peanut butter cookies with the Hershey kisses on them. This recipe is so easy for anyone who really don't want to drag bunch of cooking appliances out.

I use a Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie package mix(the one in the bag) it calls for 1 egg, 1 Tablespoon of water and 3 Tablespoons of Vegetable Oil. Mix roll in balls and bake..then place the kisses on the top when they are done. I use to make these the long way with adding my own peanut butter and all the other ingredients. These Betty Crocker Cookie packages are great for around the holidays when you have a bunch of cookies you need to make. I use the Sugar Cookie mix as well and just buy some icing and sprinkles. They are so yummy and quick and easy. I love that I don't have a bunch of things to clean up..especially with limited counter space.

I will try an post pictures after they are done :) ...was going to play with my E all day but I need a new cutting mat... no more re-sticking can be done.will pick some more up this week. But would love to try and get some Heat embossing done on Christmas tags today :)

Cookie recipe UPDATE

OKAY....The Strawberry Angel Cookies Suck!!! I made them the way the recipe said step by step. The batter was tacky it made my beater lock up..so I had to mix with one of my hands..now that was a mess. I had a mess everywhere. The batter taste like sour candy. Cooked them they are gooey in the middle even after letting them set. I tried one cooked and ewww ewww ewww. The outside gets all chewy and not a good chewy. I will not be making these for Christmas..I actually threw out the batter I have left I am not making 3 dozen like the directions say to. I hope if anyone else makes these they turn out great..please let me know if they do turn out.

I will stick to cookie recipes I know or have ingredients I have used before.

Now I am going to play with my E after I get my mess cleaned up. I need to make some gift tags might do some heat embossing.

Birthday for Dear Friend

So here is two cards I made..the first one I am not so sure about. I like the second one better :)

First Card

Used:
Wausau Cardstock
Pattern paper is from a DCWV Christmas pack -from last year-
WC car- Frame

Second Card

Used:
Wausau Cardstock
DCWV Cardstock
Ink
WC cart- Thinking of You-Grass
DC cart-Basket-Apples-Leaves-Pumpkins
Cuttlebug Folder- Pumpkin Harvest

Okay for the pumpkins I cut three out and just cut and layered them. I did this to make the pumpkins more realistic. The only cart I have that has a Pumpkin is DC..WC has one but not what I wanted.

I am thinking about using this as the Birthday card. Since my dear friends birthday is in the Autumn months I figured this would be a different kind of birthday card. I will hand write a birthday note to her inside. So I say this will be the card I am sending out.

Figured I would share both cards. I have been busy. I am finally playing around more with my 'E'. I am now working on some Halloween cards for my niece and nephews. Thanks for looking.

Dads Birthday Card(s)

My Dads Birthday is coming up next month so I figured I get a head start on a card. Well when I started the first one(first pic) I was like hmmm I might make another for him also. So I came up with card two(second pic).

See my Dad is going to be turning 50 but he says 20...every year for his Birthday we be like so dad how old are ya this year(we know how old) he says 16, 17, 18, 19, and this year 20. He said he doesn't feel like he is turning 50..and he doe
sn't look it either. My Dear Dad is a hard working man..he works hard for what he has, he takes care of what he owns and appreciates it. He has a lot of Pride and cares a lot about his family. I look up to my Dad..He is the Greatest in my book!

So here is the Cards

I used First Card:
Wausau Cardstock( got this at Target) I forget who on the Cricut MB said this paper cuts so smooth on the Circut but cause of her post I looked one day while I was at Target bought a pack an WOW!!! I think I no longer like textured cardstock(that is all I used before besides CTMH cardstock) I love this cardstock...
DCWV cardstock/pattern
CTMH cardstock
Ink
pop dots/
for the fish
WC cart/for grass/cat tails
PB/fish, fishing pole, and fish net

I used Second Card:
Wausau Cardstock
Making Memories/
pattern paper(Just Chillin)
Mickey Font/for 50 & 20
pop dots/for 50 & 20

I think my dad will like both these cards. Especially the 50/20 card.

Shape/Cut out book

Here is just the start of a Book I am working on that has all the Cricut Carts I have. Right now I have PS cart done and started PB cart. I was really bored one day so I decided to use a pack of 8x8 paper I got from WM for like $5 that I knew I would really never use.I also got the book from WM in the scrapbook section I think I paid $6 for it. The paper inside is thick. A very nice book. Most of the cuts are either 2inches or 2.5 inches some may be smaller or bigger.

Now for Font carts I say I will only cut out a Letter in each style Italic etc. and a number. Instead of cutting out one number in each size. I will also cut out all the shapes to know what they look like when cut.

I have already used PS cart to see what size of a font or number I would need so I don't waste any good paper.

Thanks for Looking!
