Craft Area Update

This is where I store all my paper stacks, cuttlebug, carts, ink, and extra odds & ends. The Beautiful frame is from my dear friend Agnes aka Flowerdisco. Also a Thank You card from Mary CARDZ TV.

My work area..I store my CTMH stamp sets in the basket and cuttlebug folders. The far right corner is where I store stamps and shipping items.

Just a close up of the top of my expedit. I keep my ATG, glues, and cards I just made. Changing up the easel card every so often. The lamp has a natural light bulb in it. So I use it sometimes when its dark an gloomy.

I wanted to share some updated pics of my little craft space since I got some Ikea Expedit shelving. I have the other expedit case over on another wall it just stores some picture boxes and other goodies. I was so Happy to have natural light coming in :)

Thanks for looking!!

Cooking WIth Cricut #77 St. Pat's and Rainbows

For the Cooking With Cricut #77 Challenge the theme was St.Patrick's Day and Rainbows. Now for my card I went super quick and yes it kinda shows :(, but I had this idea of using crayons to make the background with a rainbow. The only thing I would rather have is a stamp instead of me writing Happy St. Patricks Day! I think it would have turned out a lot better, but my inks wouldn't stay on the wax of the crayons. It was a very simple card.

I Used/Recipe:
Wausau CS
DCWV CS metallic stack
Give A Hoot cart/ pg. 45 Accent/Clover 3"
P Schoolbook cart- Circles 1/2"
Crayola Crayons
Gold Gel pen
A2 card

I hope everyone has a Safe & Fun St. Patty's Day!!

*sorry if pics are blurry and dark, my battery was going dead in my camera and my natural light was going away :(

Cooking With Cricut #76 Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss/Read Across America

For the Cooking With Cricut Challenge #76 Dr. Seuss Birthday. You had to make a card etc. from one of your favorite Dr. Seuss books or another favorite book of yours. It's hard to choose just one favorite book of Dr. Seuss. I loved them all, but I always remember Hooper Humperdink...? Not Him! This book is about a Boy named Hooper Humperdink who wasn't invited to a Birthday Party. Everyone else was, but him :( :( Not to long ago my sister was going through our books from our childhood an we came across this one. It was one of my favorites to read. I think I loved all the birthday stuff in the book. It has a really great story. If you never read it, I do recommend reading it. So for my card I went with a Birthday theme.

I Used/Recipe:
DCWV PP- Birthday stack
Wausau CS
Bazzill CS
DCWV CS
Birthday Bash cart- pg.23 Layer 2/Balloon 2 1/4" & 2 1/2" -- pg. 32 Layer 1/Ice Cream Cone 4 1/2"-- pg. 25 Cake 3 3/4"
CTMH Ink- Sunny Yellow
Sharpie pen
White gel pen
I free hand the happy birthday
I also added dots around some of the bigger dots on the PP
SU Dimensionals
A2 card

Thanks for looking an all the great comments! *sorry if my pics are blurry, I had a little helper(fur baby) jumping up an bumping the area I take the pics in :) :)

I Feel The Love March 2012

Madison over at Funky Cards is hosting another I Feel The Love. For the month of March we have to make a Thinking of You card for a special little girl named Trinitie. If you would love to make Trinitie a card and read about her story head over to Madison's blog Funky Cards. All cards are due/sent by March 31 to Madison. Her address is on her blog. For my card I wanted some Cute & Sweet. I remember I had this flower pattern/PP that I have never used. I always thought the Elephant on CAC was cute. So that is how my idea for this card came about. I hand wrote a little sentiment inside.

I Used/Recipe:
Paper Pizazz PP- Single sheet from J's
Wausau CS
CAC cart- pg. 55 Elephant 2 1/4"
Pooh Font cart- Marker - Hi! 1"
Darice Embossing folder- Dot
