My Button

Hello Friends! I wanted to share my New Button with y'all. I have been wanting my own button, I just think they are so cute. I know some may not use it, but I just wanted to make one. All you have to do click and Save As. Go to your Dashboard click Design and Click Add Gadget, Pick Picture and follow instructions. You put my Blog in the Link area. It will make a direct Link to my Blog Dew Drops & Glue Dots.

A Quick Note about what I have been doing. I have really been wanting to work more into my Hobby of card making. Also maybe work on some mini albums. I have cut some unnecessary things out of my life for the time being. Not bad things, but it's things that if I keep them going I make no time for me and my hobby. I'm really wanting to pick up Quilting, I have been saying this for a while now, but I really want to. I'm looking at sewing machines that fit into my budget, that will work well for my hobby. Not sure if many have noticed, but I have been posting a lot more on my blog. I also would love to enter some swaps rather it be Card swaps or ATC swaps. Just something fun. If anyone has good tips on great places for swaps feel free to share. I would love to play along. I have been entering a lot more challenges. I really want to enter ones that are Cricut related, since that is what I use. I may not have a lot of carts, but I make due with what I do have. So I just wanted to share a little bit with what's going on in my Hobby world :)

Hope everyone has a Great Weekend!

Cooking With Cricut (Challenge)

Here is my entry to the Cooking With Cricut Challenge. You had to use the colors Purple & Green and or one of the Sketches for this weeks Challenge. I picked the Card Sketch. I don't really do many layouts. This is my first time entering a Challenge at Cooking With Cricut I would love to enter more Cricut related challenges, since that is what I use the most. I had fun playing in this challenge. Can't wait to see what is next. Sorry the lighting is bad on the close ups. It has been raining hre the past two days, so it's really gloomy.

I Used:
Cloud 9 Design PP- Seasonal 2010
Cloud 9 Design PP- Specialty 2011
Wausau Cardstock
Wild Card cart- pg 60 Frame 4 3/4"
P Schoolbook cart- Rectangle 3 1/2" (cut to make smaller) Circles 1/2"
Create A Critter cart- pg 70 Pumpkin 2 1/4"
CTMH Ink-Clover Meadow & Hydrangea
SU Dimensionals
Flat Back silver pearls
I printed off the 'Little Pumpkin' the Font is Comic Sans
A2 card
**I don't have a gypsy( :( super sad face here) to keep the square in the frame from being cut out so I just glued the square cut out of frame back into it. Also the thinner Cloud 9 paper kinda shreds when cut. I know I need a new blade on my cutter, but I don't on my Cricut and it still shredded a little on the pumpkin. I Took sponges an lightly patted the ink on the edges and sentiment. Also I started water marking my pics, not cause someone has used any of my pics as their own, but cause I seen Craft Junkie Too do a tutorial about it and I have always wanted to. So that is why I have been placing that on them. :) :) I'm pretty sure it was Tracy, but I can't find where it is to share the link :( :( sorry.

Thanks for the Great Comments!
