Spongebob card

I got the Spongebob Cart for Christmas...I wanted to get it anyway since my niece loves Spongebob...well her mom got it for me cause she figured I could make my niece cards all the time...she loves getting mail. I was excited to get the cart...well as in previous post I really need new cutting mats for my E...I have not got them yet..but I needed to make a card since they were still in visting so she could see how the cart turned out...The only complaint is this cart is not good if your mat is not sticky...all the layering makes it so hard...This card took me maybe two hours to do since my mats were not sticky..I had to put the paper where there was just enough sticky to keep it on the mat. I do love the cart though..but I really need new mat..will be getting those this weekend...

Here is the card Front & Inside

I Used:
Wausau Cardstock
Spongebob cart-he is cut at 4inches
all the background images are from spongebob cart

The Inside I Used:
the same cardstock
Life's a Beach cart for the lettering(got this cart for Christmas also...Love It!!!)
I drew the bubbles with a white gel pen.

I can't wait to get new mats so I can play more..I also got a new chair for Christmas from Ikea..its so comfy..now I don't have to drag my big computer desk chair into my bedroom where my little area for crafting is. When I get my little area better organized I will take pics

Thanks for looking..

I Hope Everyone has a Safe & Happy New Year!!!!

Merry Christmas

I just wanted to wish all my blog followers a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I wish I had some cards or other things I have made to post..but I have been so busy that I haven't had time to really make anything...plus I need new cutting mats for my E. I checked at WM the other day but they were out of them. Maybe I got some for Christmas...my sister was in to see my new little craft area I had made in my bedroom. I will post pictures when I get it all straightened up. While she was here she seen my mat was on its last leg and so she asked me if I needed any..so maybe she got me some for Christmas :):). I am also hoping I get CDS and some carts that I asked for. I really only asked for Cricut stuff , CTMH stamps an a few items from Ikea. So I will try an post a Christmas Haul after I get back in town. I am going to try an log in everyday to see what everyone is up to..I hope everyone has a Safe & Fun Christmas and New Year!!

First batch of Peanut butter cookies Done :)

Here is the first batch it made 24 but the first plate was gone before the rest of the batch was done...thanks to my boyfriend :). The Betty Crocker recipe says it makes 36 peanut butter cookies but I make mine bigger for the kisses.

Thanks for looking!

Baking cookies again :)

Today I decided to make some peanut butter cookies with the Hershey kisses on them. This recipe is so easy for anyone who really don't want to drag bunch of cooking appliances out.

I use a Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie package mix(the one in the bag) it calls for 1 egg, 1 Tablespoon of water and 3 Tablespoons of Vegetable Oil. Mix roll in balls and bake..then place the kisses on the top when they are done. I use to make these the long way with adding my own peanut butter and all the other ingredients. These Betty Crocker Cookie packages are great for around the holidays when you have a bunch of cookies you need to make. I use the Sugar Cookie mix as well and just buy some icing and sprinkles. They are so yummy and quick and easy. I love that I don't have a bunch of things to clean up..especially with limited counter space.

I will try an post pictures after they are done :) ...was going to play with my E all day but I need a new cutting mat... no more re-sticking can be done.will pick some more up this week. But would love to try and get some Heat embossing done on Christmas tags today :)

Cookie recipe UPDATE

OKAY....The Strawberry Angel Cookies Suck!!! I made them the way the recipe said step by step. The batter was tacky it made my beater lock up..so I had to mix with one of my hands..now that was a mess. I had a mess everywhere. The batter taste like sour candy. Cooked them they are gooey in the middle even after letting them set. I tried one cooked and ewww ewww ewww. The outside gets all chewy and not a good chewy. I will not be making these for Christmas..I actually threw out the batter I have left I am not making 3 dozen like the directions say to. I hope if anyone else makes these they turn out great..please let me know if they do turn out.

I will stick to cookie recipes I know or have ingredients I have used before.

Now I am going to play with my E after I get my mess cleaned up. I need to make some gift tags might do some heat embossing.
