SpongeBob v-day

I made this card for my niece who loves SpongeBob..but after this card I don' I like all the extra but the layering was hard this time..not sure why. I don't do the shadow with the dark background..I keep it yellow. I didn't have any clear acetate to make Sandy's Air Helmet, so I used white..I was going to use grey but that didn't look right. This card took me two days to make(3 hrs first day..blah)..just cause the layering and making things bigger. I will be using this cart for every card I send my niece, just cause she loves getting SpongeBob cards..and her mom got me the cart. I think it did turn out cute :) I had pics of the inside but for some reason they won't re-size. The inside is kinda like the front only without SpongeBob, Sandy, & Fish(jelly fish)..Just different colors and layout of sea plants and flowers.

I Used:
Wausau Cardstock-everything but the anchor(bazzill cardstock)
SpongeBob cart
Plantin SchoolBook cart-Hearts
Life's a Beach cart-Lettering inside
Pop Dots
White & Silver gel pens

Thanks for looking :)

Bama Bday!

Here is my take on a Bama birthday card that JeanniePhillips from the Cricut MB did. I use to live in Bama and still keep in touch with several dear friends. A friends little boy will be turning 2 next month, well his family is HUGE Bama fans! So I remember Jeannie making two awesome Bama for Birthday..I looked and looked all over the MB to try and find the two cards she did(one is a baby bama card) I could not find it anywhere. I follow her blog and that is where I found them. Her work is so Amazing!! I made my card different though..But I want everyone to know this card Idea for using a Roll Tide/Bama theme is hers all the way. I give her all the credit.

I Used:
Bazzill Textured cardstock
Houndstooth pattern paper(not sure brand got it at HL)
New Arrival cart-Elephant
A Child's Year-Balloons
Pooh Font-Lettering
-I cut the squares of pattern paper & cardstock 1"x 1"
-the inside I lined with the houndstooth paper, reads-Roll Tide!-with a #2
Embossing Floss-balloon strings
-I did notice the balloon with the #2 on it blends into the square..I didn't notice til after I glued it down..this card took me a good while to make, due to I was trying to weld the lettering on my DS but I still haven't figured out how to shadow it. So I played and played til I just gave up..I need more DS practice.
-the "B" on the balloon is for the little guys name.

Birthday Card

Made this Birthday card for my sister...I seen a card like this on the Cricut MB, same layout just going a different way. I was just looking around on the picture section of the MB an seen this style of card it was very cute..I really liked the layout...I do not take credit for this layout/design. It can be found in the Picture section on the Cricut MB search Birthday(did this to make it short for you to find) original design is by tomiannie :)

I used:
DCWV-Pattern paper-animal crackers stack
Ashlyn's Alphabet cart- for lettering & numbers
From My Kitchen cart-Cupcake(I cut the cherry off..not cause I didn't like it, but my sister really don't like cherries)
-I welded the birthday using my DS(first time welding or using my DS...I love it)

Baby Boy RealTree Card

I made this baby card for my Cousin who is having a little boy in March...they did his baby room in the RealTree camo so I found some scrapbook paper at Cabelas that matched and decided to make the card to match...I think my Cousin will be surprised cause not a lot of people know they make scrapbook paper like this that looks like the real deal RealTree camo. They are also doing the lettering in the Blaze orange(hunter orange) I went to several stores and found some close to it but not bright like I wanted..but I think this turned out fine. I hope they like it.

I Used:
New Arrival cart-Onesies
Pooh Font cart-Baby
RealTree Hardwoods cardstock
Wausau cardstock
Bazzil Cardstock

Not done with the inside yet still trying to decide what kind of sentiment I want it to say inside..but will do the inside to match outside.

Thanks for looking :)
