Cooking With Cricut (Challenge)

Here is what I made for Cooking With Cricut challenge this week. You had to use Scarecrow, Hay, Crows and/or sketch. I don't have any carts with cute Scarecrows so I made my own little scarecrow using PDDU. I think he turned out cute. Now all I need to do is invest in a set of Peachy Keen face stamps..hmmm maybe will get some for Christmas..hehe. I also made my own square hay bales.

I Used/Recipe:
DCWV PP- J's single sheet (yellow plaid background & red plaid shirt)
Debbie Mumm PP- Harvest & Holiday for J's stack
Bazzill cardstock
Wausau cardstock
PDDU cart- (Body) Blackout 3 1/4"--pg.52 (outfit/Frankenstein) 3 1/4"--pg.64 (Hat) 3"
P Schoolbook cart- (Rectangle/Hay bales) 1 3/4"
CAC cart- pg.70 (Pumpkins) 1/2" , 3/4" & 1 1/4"
CTMH Ink- Clover Meadow & Desert Sand
Embroidery Floss
Sharpie Pen
Happy Fall Y'all- Printed off-- Font BatikRegular
A2 card

Thanks for Looking and all the Great comments!

  1. Sheena,
You did a great job and your little scarecrow is adorable. You did a good job on his face too. I have peachy keen face stamps and I love them, but if I could draw a face as good as yours I wouldn't need them. I can't draw a straight line.

  4. Oh My word Sheena!! I was SO gonna use Frankenstein's outfit for my scarecrow until I happened pn an awesome sale of Carts at AcMoore and got the Simply Charmed cart! I must say, I still like Frankensteins outfit better!! The raggedy look one thinks of with scarecrows!! I hope you can get your PKS faces too! They are adorable. However, I think you did a good job with his face. I LOVE the yarn accents for "straw"! I never though about that! Probably a lot better to work with than rafia....may have to use your idea one time! I will have to come back and follow because blogger is having issues! Again, cute card! Love the details!
Thanks for playing along at Cooking with Cricut.

  7. This is absolutely adorable, Sheena! And what a great idea to use embroidery floss for the hay -- way better than raffia! Thanks for linking up at Cooking With Cricut this week.
