Cartridge Showcase: Boys Will Be Boys

 

Hi Everyone! For this Mondays Cartridge Showcase at MyPaperCrafting.com the cart was Boys Will Be Boys. I bought this cart awhile back when I didn't have a lot of boy theme items on carts. I have several Nephews, so this cart is perfect for them. I made this fun shape card. You know them little guys get so excited when they catch a big fish. A lot of stories of how HUGE it was. So when I had the Pail page opened I thought hmm..this be a cute idea.

I made this card back for January IFTL. It was for the Kids at Sandy Hook. I thought this cute dump truck dropping hearts would be cute for a little guy.

I made this fun shape card for my little nephew last August. He loves tractors and I knew he get a kick out of this shape of a card. He loves his Pappy's John Deere.

Hi Everyone! For this weeks Totally Tags & ATC's at MyPaperCrafting.com the theme was Plant Life. I made this fun Dino tag, using a lot of greenery. When I think of Dino's I think of the type in kiddie movies..hehe. So this tag can be used for a birthday.

Office Stuff

Hi, Everyone! This week at CWC-MyPaperCrafting.com the theme was Office Stuff. Today is Administrative Professionals Day. You can use Typewriter, Pen, Notepad, or any other office type item. I used a Crayon and my PP is a notepad. I only have carts with Crayons on them. :) This card is to just say Thank You!

Cartridge Showcase: Give A Hoot

"GIVE A HOOT"

 Hi Everyone! For this Mondays Cartridge Showcase at MyPaperCrafting.com, the cart was Give A Hoot. This is my first ever showcase. I wanted to play along cause I have this cart and it is one of my favorites. I made this cute shape card, this could be given as a Baby shower card or just a card for a Mother/Friend. All cuts on this card are from the Give A Hoot cart. I also like trying to see if I can make shape cards using one cartridge that normally don't have card cuts. Give A Hoot is a great cart for that, the Accent shapes can be turned into a great card base.

 **Older Projects using Give A Hoot**

 I made this card for my Mother for Mother's day in 2012. I liked how that flower looked really big, it is an Accent on the Give A Hoot cartridge. I think it turned out really cute being so big.

Made this for my parents for their Anniversary a coupe years ago. If you haven't noticed, I like using the Accent feature on Give A Hoot a lot. When made big they look really cute.

National Library Week - Book

Hi Everyone! For this week at CWC-MyPaperCrafting.com the theme was Book for National Library Week. Use anything Book or Library related. I made this bright and fun S-Fold card. This can be given to a Librarian. I always wanted to be a Librarian. In High School I worked in the Library and loved it. I loved everything about it, Helping others find books, the smell of books/paper, using the old style checkout where you used a stamp with the date on a card in the back of the book, and just being around all those books. I have only been out of high school for 11 years, they now have the electric way of checking books out..hehe

First Birthday

Hi Everyone! I wanted to join in on the fun challenge at Die Cuttin Diva's this week. The theme is use a Star, to celebrate Astronomy Day. So this week make a project with a Star. I Love Space, so I am gonna have to look into this special day :) I made this cute birthday card for my cousins 1st Birthday. I wanted to use a few new items I got from winning a couple blog giveaways. I knew the #1 I had would be perfect for his little card. I am also including a pic of the card with stars all over, I would like opinions if you think I should do that(they will be different laid out) or keep the way it is??? So please let me know.

Hi, Everyone! This weeks challenge at Pumpkin Spice is :Taxes (money or debt or anything that makes you think of TAXES)ok ok... i know.  Taxes.. really!!?? But it can be anything, red/white/blue, patriotic, tea party... etc.  Have fun with it!  Lets celebrate that after MONDAY another year is behind us... hehehe. My very first ATC - Glitter

Hi Everyone! For this weeks Totally Tags & ATC's at MyPaperCrafting.com the theme was Glitter. This is my very first ATC. If you don't know what an ATC is, it's a Artist Trading Card, they are the size of a baseball card/playing card 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".  I wanted to try making one and I love how mine turned out. These are super fun and I can see me making more ATC's. I have the orange background to be like the sunset. I used stickles glitter on the fish scales and sky.
