I made this baby card for my Cousin who is having a little boy in March...they did his baby room in the RealTree camo so I found some scrapbook paper at Cabelas that matched and decided to make the card to match...I think my Cousin will be surprised cause not a lot of people know they make scrapbook paper like this that looks like the real deal RealTree camo. They are also doing the lettering in the Blaze orange(hunter orange) I went to several stores and found some close to it but not bright like I wanted..but I think this turned out fine. I hope they like it.

Not done with the inside yet still trying to decide what kind of sentiment I want it to say inside..but will do the inside to match outside.

Scrapbook paper at Cabela's? I have to say WOW!!! The card is very nice and I will be very happy just for all the effort you are putting in it plus I think is a marvelous idea.
ReplyDeleteflowerdisco-yea Cabelas has scrapbook paper..it comes in a pack of 12 I think..it was marked on sale for $9 but all those sale tags were ripped off and had the reg price of $12..but I got mine for $9 cause mine still had a sale tag on the back even though it rang up $12. It is pretty thick cardstock..I had to change setting on my Cricut for it to cut right.
