Bama Bday!
Here is my take on a Bama birthday card that JeanniePhillips from the Cricut MB did. I use to live in Bama and still keep in touch with several dear friends. A friends little boy will be turning 2 next month, well his family is HUGE Bama fans! So I remember Jeannie making two awesome Bama cards..one for Birthday..I looked and looked all over the MB to try and find the two cards she did(one is a baby bama card) I could not find it anywhere. I follow her blog and that is where I found them. Her work is so Amazing!! I made my card different though..But I want everyone to know this card Idea for using a Roll Tide/Bama theme is hers all the way. I give her all the credit.
I Used:
Bazzill Textured cardstock
Houndstooth pattern paper(not sure brand got it at HL)
New Arrival cart-Elephant
A Child's Year-Balloons
Pooh Font-Lettering
-I cut the squares of pattern paper & cardstock 1"x 1"
-the inside I lined with the houndstooth paper, reads-Roll Tide!-with a #2
Embossing Floss-balloon strings
-I did notice the balloon with the #2 on it blends into the square..I didn't notice til after I glued it down..this card took me a good while to make, due to I was trying to weld the lettering on my DS but I still haven't figured out how to shadow it. So I played and played til I just gave up..I need more DS practice.
-the "B" on the balloon is for the little guys name.
Thanks for stopping by :)
