April Week 2 " Snowflakes" + challenge

Here is my Weekly card an entry for this weeks challenge over at Alphabet Challenge Blog. This week was the letter "W" so you had to use White with one other color. This challenge was kinda hard for me..I went through all my carts that I knew would only need one layer of one color. The first idea was a Santa hat, but it wouldn't fit right..So I knew snowflakes could be one color. The ornaments caught my eye..I thought to myself.."girl its April it's 80 degrees out today and you want to make a card using snowflakes"...haha so I went with it + I just got Joys of the Season cart from my sister, since its retiring..had it out on my work desk. I might make white bows to add to the tops of the ornaments. Very simple card to make..just hard using only White and one other color.

I Used:
Wausau Cardstock
Joys of the Season cart- Snowflake Ornaments 2 1/2"
Cuttlebug folder- Snowflakes
CTMH stamp set-Feathery Flakes-flurries & snowfall
CTMH ink-Moonstruck
White Gel pen
SU Dimensionals
A2 size card

This week I'm going to try my hand at making a Easel card..it will be my first time making one..I hope it turns out.

**note about my facebook link..I have to go in and change some settings so people can see an add me. I want to get my page all worked out first. So hopefully the link will work soon.

Thanks for looking and all the Great comments!

Hugs, Sheena

  1. Sheena, you rule! Love this card - and yes, it is in the 80's and now the 90's here in Austin, TX so this is a breath of fresh air. Thanks for joining us at the Alphabet Challenge Blog.
